BY BUS
There are several bus stops in Hluboká, with the most important right under the church, called “Pod Kostelem”. The bus stop on both sides of the road serves majority of the buses coming to or passing through Hluboká nad Vltavou. There are regular connections from and to České Budějovice and in the direction of Prague. Bus schedules are available at the bus stops and in the information centre. Tickets are purchased directly on the bus.
In case you decide to take bus number 4 to or from České Budějovice, we recommend to purchase 16 CZK tickets in advance at the bus station in České Budějovice or in the information centre in Hluboká.

Some lines are integrated into the Integrated Transport System of the South Bohemian Region (IDS JK). It is possible to buy a prepayment ticket for the line buses of selected contractual carriers and ČD trains. More information about IDS JK can be found at www.idsjk.cz. The preparation and operation of IDS JK is in charge of JIKORD, Ltd., South Bohemian Transport Co-ordinator, an organization established by the South Bohemian Region whose main objective is to provide traffic services to the South Bohemian Region. It is possible to use one-day paper ticket JIKORD plus, which is valid in public transport on the territory of the South Bohemian Region, all year round. You can travel to this ticket on all ČD trains (including express trains) and GW Train Regio, public transport in all cities and regional and some long-haul coaches of contractors. The ticket can be used mainly for family trips (weekends for 2 adults and 3 children) or longer trips within the region (working days are for 1 adult and 1 child). When submitting a ticket on the day of its validity to the contractual business partners, it is also possible to obtain interesting discounts on the admission fee. You can buy the ticket at railway stations, bus terminals at contractual carriers and selected tourist information centers. BY TRAIN

There are two train stations in Hluboká: Hluboká – Sudárna (direction České Budějovice – Pilsen) and Hluboká – Zámostí (direction České Budějovice – Prague), both somewhat distant from the town center, both served by number 4 bus. Only passenger trains stop at Hluboká train stations. In case you travel by a fast train from Prague, you need to change in České Budějovice.

BY PLANE
Less than 4 km from the town of Hluboká there is Hosín International Airport. The airport with one flight path is designed for mid-range aircraft. No regular flights serve the airport, public domestic charter transport and international non-public transport. The airport is also served by public transportation. BY BICYCLE
Hluboká is well connected to a dense network of quality bicycle paths in the region. By far the most popular connects České Budějovice and Hluboká nad Vltavou along the left bank of Vltava river. Cycle trail continues to the village Purkarec.

BY BOAT
In 2011, a newly navigated section of the Vltava River was opened leading from České Budějovice to Hluboká nad Vltavou. At present, several companies operate on the route České Budějovice - Hluboká nad Vltavou - Purkarec and back shipping, here are more information about the offered services:
